To celebrate this exciting achievement, we sat down with Madison to learn more about her experience at the agency and discover what she’s looking forward to most as an Account Executive.
What are you most excited about in relation to the Account Executive role?
I’m really hoping to invest more time into trend research and consumer patterns. Trends are always evolving along with people’s wants and needs, so it’s crucial to keep learning and adapting our agency’s strategies.
What has been your favorite part of working in PR to-date?
I’ve loved getting to know each client that we have and learning about them professionally and personally. Each client is so unique, and they all bring variety to Butin’s table.
Are there any PR campaigns that have inspired you recently?
I was really impressed and encouraged by Gillette’s “The Best Men Can Be” campaign they ran recently. They really nailed this one on the head and approached today’s societal issues with thoughtfulness. I also loved Fiji’s Water Girl at the Golden Globes. The way she perfectly photobombed the leading actors at the event was truly hilarious and brilliant on Fiji’s part.
What advice would you give someone whose embarking on their first job out of school?
Take a deep breath – and take your time finding the job that is best for you! Also, just remember that most of the things you’re worried about today will not define your tomorrow.
