Butin Integrated Communications was the Blog category winner in PR Daily’s 2020 Digital Marketing and Social Media Awards, which were presented virtually in mid-June.
The prestigious Digital Marketing and Social Media Awards are given out annually by PR Daily, whose publications are considered the training standard for professionals in corporate communications, public relations, social media and management. Known as “the industry’s top program for honoring the digital gurus behind the successful work,” the awards recognize achievement in more than 50 categories.
Butin captured the top prize in its category for its work on Dish on Fish, the blog the agency created and manages in partnership with its longtime client, the National Fisheries Institute.
It is just the latest honor for Dish on Fish, which is a major seafood education initiative of the NFI. In 2019, Dish on Fish took home a national Bronze Anvil award from the Public Relations Society of America. In 2018, the site was the Blog category winner in PR News’ Platinum PR and Agency Elite Awards competition and also was ranked No. 1 on content reader Feedspot’s list of the “Top 100 Seafood Blogs and Websites for Seafood Lovers.”
